I've been asked this question a thousand time and have yet to answer it - at last definitively. The main reason is that I probably haven't been there yet - though it's not from a lack of effort. After more than 25 year as an avid dive traveler,I've com to realize that being a diver is akin to belonging to an elite society which, in exchange for our inherent role as stewards and protectors, is granted exclusive access to the underwater realm and its treasures.
Divers have a strong curiosity about what lies beneath the surface of the water, This drive also instills a desire to personally experience these environments and the travel industry has made this exceedingly easy.So,as divers,we travel.
